Payroll cluster lead
    Payroll Cluster Lead's role is to provide the business with HR & Payroll expertise and delivery by managing local Payroll teams and external providers in Baltics, SCE (Bulgaria, Romania, EAM), Greece and Portugal. The role involves driving Mondelez HR operational excellence by delivering HR projects in the countries of scope, working closely with the functional/category HR Managers to ensure this delivery is aligned with both the functional agenda as well as people processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Operate within agreed global and regional data standards and system landscape;
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and direction to Payroll Team for countries in scope; Maintain and improve Payroll control environment, including assessment of existing and possible risks, review existing and creation of new appropriate controls;
  • Controlling of SOX and monitoring of compliance;
  • Manage the relationship with outsourced payroll providers where relevant;
  • Collaborate within HR community and with other functions (Finance, Global Mobility) to harmonize communications and documents (if applicable);
  • Control expats' data, incl. alignment and cooperation with HR, General Manager, Tax, Legal, etc.;
  • Lead Payroll impacting changes and projects;
  • Lead the Audit and compliance for payroll controls;
  • Ensure monthly tracking and reporting linked to payroll - e.g. SLAs, Payroll KPIs.
  • Look for continuous improvement possibilities, simplification and optimization of payroll activities and processes.


  • Experience in a global organization and/or shared service organization
  • Solid Payroll/HR Operations background
  • Process Improvement and project management experience
  • Excellent communication skills, incl. engaging various stakeholders
  • 3rd party relationship management experience will be an advantage
  • Fluent English
  • University degree


  • Experience in SAP
  • People management experience (preferably cross country as well)
