PDM System Specialist

Are you a specialist who is interested Product Data Management (PDM) systems and wants to support our clients from IT site? In this role, the Specialist will further evolve the Windchill environment based on process requirement through various administrative tasks, software development and support as part of a CAD/PDM IT Product Team that runs SCRUM.

Main Responsibilities

• Execute complex configuration and development tasks in Windchill to implement business process requirements
• Evaluate and implement updates and critical patch sets (CPS) in Windchill
• Coordinate server landscape for Windchill
• Solve 2nd level support tickets together with other specialists
• Communicate with first level support and Key Users

• Maintaining documentation
• Participate in SCRUM Meetings including planning, reviews, and retrospective
• Support testing new developments

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area
• Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts and processes
• 5+ working experience with administrating PDM Systems, ideally with Windchill from PTC
• Experience in at least one Object Oriented Programming language like Java or C++
• Good structured, organized work
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English

Nice to have

• Basic Experience in CAD tools e.g. Creo Parametrics or similar
• Outgoing and communicative personality
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Experience with agile concepts like SCRUM
• Basic skills in German
