Job Description

You will be working on building, expanding and enhancing the Bored Panda IT platforms whilst pushing innovation to the next level to keep the Bored Panda as one of the leading media channels in the world. You’ll be able to mix and communicate with different teams (e.g. data scientists, analysts, content department and etc.) within the organisation. The Bored Panda IT infrastructure will enable you to choose between Python and PHP while you will work with:

- Various tools for the Bored Panda analytics and data teams
- Internal productivity tools for the Bored Panda content creation teams
- IT infrastructure development (microservice based architecture, big databases, events tracking etc.)
- boredpanda.com website functionality development (100M+ monthly unique visitors)

Requirements

- 3+ years of professional experience as a developer
- Significant experience working with PHP or Python
- Professional experience with relational databases
- Understanding of OO principles and good code design
- Experience in building highly scalable systems
- Experience with Amazon AWS, Git

- Experience in NoSql databases
- Experience in developing user interface (HTML / CSS / JavaScript)
- Experience working with Laravel framework
