Job Description

Operating, maintaining and monitoring the power supply infrastructure at two sites, you will be central to everything we do. From day to day, you will co-ordinate business activity with our suppliers and service providers, prepare contracts and monitor performance, and introduce clear and considered standards for our electrical systems. At the same time, you will act as our in-house expert on generators and cooling units, whilst participating in our 24/7 standby and callout service, so you can expect considerable visibility and responsibility.


Qualified to degree level in Electrical Engineering, you will bring knowledge of all applicable German and European regulations such as VDE, DIN, VDMA and ISO 9001:2000. This should be backed by extensive hands-on experience of uninterruptible power supplies, medium voltage systems, power distribution to computing equipment and air conditioning plant. Above all, you will be familiar with operating within a highly demanding 24/7 operational environment, capable of using AutoCAD technology and databases, work effectively in English and have some knowledge of French. Ability to communicate in German is mandatory.
