Procurement Manager IT Services and Consultance

The IT Procurement Team is responsible for procuring all IT related activities, Software, IT Services, IT Consultancy, Telco, Hardware, IT Infrastructure and IT Security. The team consists of 16 people with an international mindset is located in Copenhagen, Århus, Vilius and Bangalore. It is a mix between experienced and senior professionals and young talents. As a Procurement Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that all IT Consulting and IT Services is procured in a manner that is fitting the purpose and timeline of the business, commercially attractive for the Group short and long term, complies with the Groups security and compliance policies. It is a position that is based highly on project related work, and not administrative support function.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing consulting services and IT services according to the sourcing process and best practices
• Executing highly complex IT Services and Consultancy sourcing and tender activities involving multiple stakeholders at local and central level
• Development of effective supplier relationships and ensuring implementation of effective Supplier Management practices in conjunction with Group IT
• Proactively building, developing and maintaining valuable relationships with key stakeholders (such as IT Development directors, Business Unit analytics or business development functions), across businesses and geographies, and with the wider IT Procurement team
• Development of robust and appropriate contracts including liaison with specialists across businesses to ensure compliance to and business needs and Group policies
• Sharing local best practice optimizations.

• Passion for IT and a hunger to be a part of the organizational change that this drives
• 2 years of procurement experience or IT Consulting or Services areas from either sales or an IT organization preferably in an international environment
• A comprehensive understanding of the commercials of business and knowledge of sourcing methodologies
• Extensive knowledge of commercial aspects of supplier contracts in particular in  Enterprise grade IT Consulting and Services fields
• Strong negotiation skills and stakeholder management experience
• Forward thinking and commercial approach to procurement
• Great communication skills
• Fluency in English language.
