Procurement Manager (Travel)

You will join our Professional Services team within Group Procurement, including 13 team members based in Denmark and Lithuania. Professional Services are responsible for Category Management of HR, Consultancy, Marketing & Communication and Travel Meetings & Events. You will be part of Travel, Meetings & Events team and your workplace will be in Vilnius, Lithuania. You must expect some travelling.

• Your responsibility will be – in close collaboration with Travel, Meetings & Events team - to execute on the travel & meeting strategy, reporting to head of Professional Services
• On an average day, you will be busy managing a variety of travel and meeting management tasks including project leadership when optimizing the entire process from booking to expense reporting
• Manage the follow-up on contract obligations and deliverables with our major suppliers and communicate travel news and best practices to drive traveling the ‘right way’
• Other important elements of your job is to support our stakeholders and travellers addressing issues to relevant suppliers, to support different travel, meetings & events sourcing activities where analytical skills will be required
• For avoidance of doubt, travel booking will not be a part of your responsibility, due to our on-line booking system and decentralized administration of travel booking.

• It is crucial that you have a background in corporate travel and a technical flair
• Knowledge of digital travel solutions and know how to implement them in a large multinational organization
• TMC or airline background, e.g. few years of key account management, or you come from another company’s travel management department or similar
• You have a ‘doer’ attitude and good communication skills
• Fluent in English.
