• Supporting the Global Operations Manager in the management, direction and leadership of resources and workflow across a global shift (circa 15
people) in multiple global locations.
• Controlling global operation activities, including event management, incident management, batch processing, and change management.
• Co-ordination of resources across multiple functional disciplines.
• Managing of workflow and workload allocation across multiple support processes, technical disciplines and competing business priorities.
• Authorizing and managing the implementation of infrastructure and application changes, small projects/releases.
• Representing Production Operations for large scale projects and releases.
• Developing and deploying innovative solutions to address individual and unique business needs.
Requirements
• Significant working experience in a similar role in management which includes staff development.
• Strong technical background and working knowledge of ITIL.
• Strong communications skills in English both spoken and written.
• Leadership skills, customer service skills.
• Incident, change and problem management skills.
• Flexibility with working hours to meet the demands of the job (position includes working on a rotating shift pattern to provide 24x7 support services).
