Project manager (Vilnius/Riga)

Essential responsibilities: · Deliver complex cross-functional and cross-border projects, like new product and new market launches. · Lead project team, including external partners and initiate corrective action where appropriate. · Be responsible for overall project ownership. · Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time, ensuring deadlines are met while driving best practices across the development team.

Qualifications/Requirements: · Relevant university degree. · Experience within financial services and regulated industries and/ or experience in high competition and growth industries. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and/ or product development. · PMP or IPMA certificate would be considered as an advantage. · Ability to work most of the time (80%) from Riga office and partly form Lithuanian office in Vilnius (20%). Desired Characteristics: · Experience with Project Management methodologies – waterfall and agile. · Experience with managing projects with global scope and resources. · Expertise working with Microsoft project. · Proven stakeholder management skills. · Ability to evaluate teams performance and identify improvement needs and solutions. · High energy level self-starter. · Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks. · Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage project teams. · Ability to anticipate events and develop adaptive strategies. · Strong skills in customer relationship building, facilitation and management. · Exceptional oral and written communication skills. · Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills. · Strong team leadership and team building skills. · Ability to drive and manage change in a dynamic environment. · Proven ability to work globally. · Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and externally. · Knowledge of the software development process. · Possesses analytical/quantitative skills. · Possesses business process analysis skills.
