Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript).
  • Design, implement, and execute automated tests for new and existing features.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and manual QA team members to define test plans and strategies.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with the development team to resolve defects.
  • Continuously improve the automation framework and integrate it into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate test coverage for regression and feature testing.
  • Contribute to quality best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement in QA processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer (3+ years).
  • Strong proficiency in automation frameworks such as Playwright, WebdriverIO, Cypress or similar.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience in programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, XRAY) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, LoadRunner)
  • Familiarity with containerization and cloud-based testing environments (e.g., Docker, AWS, Azure)
