QA Manager

My name is Jūratė Grigoraitė and I am leading Common Service Order Management team within Telia IT. The team is responsible for development, delivery, maintenance and operations of the Common Service Order Management solutions and applications delivered through in-house and external partners. Platforms and applications we develop and support orchestrate successful Telia customers’ order fulfillment for entire Telia Group.

Telia is on an exciting journey to become new generation telco, where we are challenging our old way of working. The Service Order Management team is going to focus on consolidation across Nordic and Baltic countries while maintaining the highest quality across our installed base.

Software testing is a critical element in an overall solution delivery process, therefore we are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager who will contribute to our goal by revealing strengths and weaknesses of products and processes, who will participate in projects implementation activities and propose improvements.

Your next opportunity?

As a QA Manager you will investigate test interactions between different modules in a variety of environments and configurations to ensure the system works from end to end, without any integration, security, performance, or other issues.

Your day to day job will include:

• Define the testing strategy for the project that will include the definition of Unit test, Integration tests and Acceptance tests, Environments where the tests will be executed and the approach to be used, Automation tools (i.e. RoboFW) and automation strategy (i.e. Bamboo integration)
• Coordinate and divide a work between other QA Specialists within the project team
• Prepare test plan following testing methodologies, techniques and best practices
• Understand business requirements and prepare test cases
• Perform E2E testing activities
• Review test documentation prepared by external partners and other stakeholders
• Work closely with functional and development teams to ensure high quality project delivery
• Escalate test execution shortcomings and propose improvements
• Reflect on the overall status of application quality, and identify bottlenecks

Who are you?
Your experience:

• Experience in software testing (must)
• Agile knowledge
• Experience in test automation (advantage)
• Experience with full-cycle IT implementation projects
• A diverse, technical-based skillset
• Experienced with technologies and testing tools similar to Xray, TestFlo, SoapUI, Postman
• Good English and Lithuanian skills

We offer a monthly base salary from 2300 Eur (gross) to 3500 Eur (gross) plus annual bonus which varies depending on your performance and Telia's results. Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefit package which includes:
