As a member of the Quality Planning Department,
-You develop & facilitate the activities to report & define Quality on a monthly basis to Top management on behalf of Quality Division. You communicate & implement action points.
-You develop & facilitate cross-functional review of Quality activities (Preparing Quality business plan & Key Performance indicators & bi-monthly European Quality Meetings).
-You support development of strategy and co-ordinate project activities for customer satisfaction improvement through JD Power & European Manufacturing Quality Improvement.
-You support development of strategy to level up implementation of Toyota way tools (QC Circle) to meet global objective with each European plant.
-You support development of strategy & activities for implementation of the European Quality month each November.
Your responsibility in all the activities above is: coordination of activities, follow up of items and consensus discussions (with chairman level members in Europe & Japan) and to ensure that QD & European Manufacturing QA/QC divisions are in Quality mind based on Quality Division lead.
-You have a University degree (preferably in Business Management with Quality specialisation) or Bsc with Management & technology.
-You have a minimum of 2 years working experience in a head office environment of a multinational firm.
-Preferably you have experience in Automotive Industry or high volume manufacturing.
-Good knowledge of Quality in a manufacturing environment is an absolute plus.
-You have a solid understanding of practical business management in a multi national structure.
-You are fluent in English (Spoken & Written)
-You have advanced knowledge of MS excel (Pivot tables, graph making) and good knowledge of basic Microsoft word packages (Word, Powerpoint). Basic understanding of Lotus Notes is a benefit.
-You have excellent organisational skills (disciplined but realistic scheduler, logical mind).
-You are an excellent communicator, with an ability to listen, summarise accurately, translate top management words into definite actions.
-You are willing to travel 3 to 4 times per month (mostly Europe, with a possibility of annual trips to Japan for 2 weeks).
