Radio access network engineer for RAN operations

The position is placed within GSO SA&O Network Operations unit Access NW Mob Serv. The unit has responsible for the consisting mobile network elements including both supporting customers and establishing incident, problem, preventive and change process activities towards respective business units.

The team Mobile Services is responsible of high quality in the mobile radio networks in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Estonia and Lithuania. The team will be a part of the customer support process.

Key Targets and responsibility:

The main responsibility in this position is to handle daily operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of NSN´s and Huawei GSM, UMTS and LTE radio networks.

• To run daily NSN (GSM, UMTS, LTE) RAN maintenance business.
• NSN (GSM, UMTS, LTE) RAN preventive routine.
• Troubleshoot NSN RAN networks in cross border organization according quality KPI’s statistics and critical, major, minor alarms.
• To act as a 2nd line in order to support field service.
• To act as a 3rd line for customer incidents.

Knowledge and experience:

• 2G, 3G and 4G NSN troubleshooting competence.
• To know NSN base station hardware and software capabilities.
• Also to have an experience with NSN, Huawei and/or Ericsson OSS systems.
• Big advantage to be familiar with TIKSU tools.
• As an advantage is to be familiar with NSN BSC and RNC.
• To be able communicate in English and to work in cross border organization.
