REGIONAL BUYER

- Utilize ERP System to perform PO issuance and create/maintain key data such as outline agreements, supplier contracts, info records, and source lists
- Ensure negotiated prices and contracts are maintained
- Analysis of markets through gathering and evaluation of market information to generate, adjust, recommend, and initiative purchasing strategies that help achieve optimal purchasing decisions, investigate price trends, market behavior and other relevant market trends
- Execution of agreed upon purchasing strategies, input into external and internal negotiations
- Understand and work within the procurement toolbox of IT enablers to generate reporting, record savings, evaluate suppliers and facilitate e-bidding, other tools as developed
- Knowledge of local vendors
- Manage regional RFP process
- Identify and develop suppliers and recommend their approval
- Other duties as requested by Manager

- SCMA or equivalent training, 3-5 years Purchasing experience or related fields with a high degree of customer interface
- Proven negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Receiving and Inventory Management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; rapid understanding of complex structures
- Competency in using Microsoft Office Suite required, particularly Excel
- Ability to multi task in a fast-paced plant environment
- Proven team work and problem-solving skills
- Self motivated contributor with the ability to work independently through managed objectives
- Comfortable with high-volume, processing role
- Ability to work with various IT tools and platforms
- Knowledge of Production Procurement
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Willingness to travel to Aurora suppliers and plant locations, industry conferences and other events as required
- Knowledge of HEMP would be a plus
- Agricultural background also a plus
- Ability to speak and work in English
