Key tasks
You will be expected to convey the hotel's image and atmosphere and enhance guest satisfaction through exemplary attitude, warm and friendly welcome, availability and frequent presence in the field. However, the targets of the department have to be met on expected level. In order to meet this demand, you need to:
- Have good team spirit and be well organized
- Be guest oriented, outgoing and service minded
- Be flexible and responsive
- Be able to lead and manage the team of employees
- Be able to make autonomous and responsible decisions
- Have excellent presentation skills
- Be well organized
- Command of both Lithuanian and English languages is essential
- Minimum two-years’ experience in hotel industry required

- Sound knowledge of food and beverages products
- Ensures that at all times that the standards set in the hotel
- Maintains responsibility for sales, expenses and profit goals as outlined in the food & beverage department operating plans/budgets, while promoting the company goals of customer service and satisfaction, team work, reporting requirements and financial performance
- Fulfills the objectives of increased sales.
- Prepares and checks the work schedules, ensuring that they are consistent with activity forecasts
- In cooperation with Head chef, prepares the menus, organizes purchases and manages stocks, cost of sales, checks inventories and provides daily, weekly, monthly reports and other reports required
- Participating in department recruitment process and providing support for employees’ career progress
- Ensures that hygiene and food safety standards are respected, respects and promotes the commitments in relation to environmental policy of ibis brand
- Continually works to ensure correct handling procedures to minimize china and glassware breakage and food waste
