Job Description

• Work with Technology risk owners to support the completion of documented Technology Risk and Control Assessments
  
• Support the capture of control gaps within the Technology Risk and Control Assessments, supporting the agreement of remediation actions designed
  

to improve the overall Technology control environment.

• Work with key stakeholders to ensure that Technology RCAs identify technology risks and controls in accordance with company’s’ risk and control
  

frameworks and business risk appetite.

• Manage all Risk and control related process and procedures
  
• Provide thought leadership, governance and guidance to ensure Technology compliance with company’s group and local risk and control policies,
  

standards, frameworks and procedures.

• Support the reporting of RCA progress, control effectiveness and emerging issues.
  
• Meet the needs of key internal and external risk processes, reporting schedules, stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
  
• Provide line management to local Risk Assessment team members.

Requirements

• At least 6 year experience in relevant role: Experienced at implementing or managing function-wide risk and control management processes and
  

tools, actively identifying and mitigating risks where appropriate.

• Leadership experience
  
• Comprehensive knowledge of technology risk, business area risk and risk management tools and techniques.
  
• Wide understanding of Banks goals, direction and strategies and how risk in Technology has an impact on the wider organisation.
  
• Knowledge of key areas in technology risk, including security, continuity, resilience and IT infrastructure
  
• Experience of one of the following - IT audit, Risk and Control, IT security.
  
• Fluent English
  

Risk Knowledge Preferred

• Good knowledge of the Financial Services regulatory environment.
  
• Good knowledge of partnership risk management approach with 3rd party suppliers including offshore operations.
  
• IT/Business degree or equivalent.
  
• Specialist IT Risk Qualification.
