RnD Scientist - Analytical Chemist (213237BR)

The candidate will be involved in antibodies characterisation and analysis. The scope of research work to develop and validate instrumental analytical methods, perform products characterization studies, provide technical support for quality control and manufacturing teams.

Functions:

• Development of instrumental analytical methods for proteins, antibodies and production intermediates analysis and characterization.
• Preparation and managing of stability studies.
• Participation in transfer methods from the R&D environment to Quality Control laboratories, including method verification and validation steps.
• Preparation and presentation of experimental data summaries and protocols.
• Maintenance of accurate lab notebooks.
• Scientific literature analysis related to products under development and new idea generation.
• Working with Operations, Quality, product managers and customers to troubleshoot problems and understand unmet needs.

Requirements:

Education

Master degree in the field of chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry or related disciplines.

Experience

• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in biotechnological industry (analytical chemistry is preferred).
• Must be experienced in instrumental analysis: HPLC, UV-Vis and others.
• Must be capable of adopting new methods of analysis as the need arises.
• Must have a a good knowledge of analysis and interpretation of MS, NMR (H1 & C13), FT-IR etc.
• Experience in ISO 13485 and GMP quality systems is highly preferable.
• Must have a solid understanding of chemical industry in general.
