Sales Support and Distribution Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a candidate to build up sales support and distribution center in Panevezys, Lithuania. The facility will be the pillar of IMGs operations in Europe, which is expected to grow significantly over the next 5-year period.

We are searching for a versatile and experienced manager, with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude. The candidate will be key in building our sales support and distribution capabilities and will be a part of the management team at the factory.

The key tasks for the sales support function is order-handling, customer support (B2B) and after-service. After-service will take place in cooperation with the production organization. The key tasks for the distribution center function is setting up and running an efficient warehouse, managing stock levels in cooperation with the sales entities and providing logistical support for our European sales entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee our customer service center. The core tasks of the customer service center (B2B) are order handling and after-service.
  • Responsible for distribution center, management of stock levels in cooperation with our European sales entities.
  • Provide logistical support for our European and Scandinavian entities, this includes but is not limited to; Benchmarking/negotiations with different suppliers, planning, follow up.

Requirements

  • Proven manager experience.
  • Prior experience working with logistics and distribution. Knowledge about EU VAT regime.
  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of German is considered a plus.
