SAP BW Developer/Designer

I am looking for a person who has experience in Data engineering, architecture and is a quick learner with a very wide technical background in data platform, data acquisition, data management and analysis layers. You will work across businesses in a fast-paced evironment developing data pipelines and data engineering solutions to power the diagnostics and descriptive analytics needed to solve Telias most difficult problems. As well as work with Data Scientists to feed their machine learning models and unlock predictive and prescriptive analytics. You will play the role of trusted advisor, working to transform data into business insights, and describing complex ideas concisely and accurately

Who you are?

You are a person who knows HOW TO wrangle the data, can distinguish structured and unstructured data, able to build data pipelines from various sources and able to build SAP BW designs from scratch. SAP BW Developer/Designer, primary responsibilities will be to develop, create, monitor, and schedule (where appropriate) SAP Business Warehouse objects (e.g., InfoObjects, ODS, InfoCubes, InfoPackages, InfoSources, Datasources, Extractors, Transfer Rules, Update Rules) in BW on/4 HANA environment, as well as to support analysts with development and support of front-end reporting in Business Objects.  This position is responsible for working with analysts and business users to translate functional specifications into technical specifications ensuring a comprehensive design, then configuring and coding, testing (including documentation of the results), and ongoing customer support of the solutions. I expect you adhere to the following detailed requirements:

• Should be able to Design, Architect, and help Maintain Enterprise solutions on SAP BW data analytics platform
• Should be able to lead systems implementations and detailed functional/technical system design
• Leverage extensive knowledge of distributed systems, process flows and procedures to aid analyses and recommendations for solution offerings
• Guide/Mentor/Assist in development of the proposed architectural solution
• Understanding or experience with delivering near real time application
• Experience defining, owning and managing roadmap for delivering data enterprise solutions
• Knowledge of ETL, data quality, data integration using tools
• Knowledge of SQL and usage of one or more of these DBs
• Experience or knowledge of non-relational DBs
• Knowledge of Agile principles, with experience in leading scrums, building user stories, writing specifications, and managing team resources
• Experience in Machine Learning & Data Science
• Experience with SAP BO, Qlik or other visualization tools

Additional Requirements:  

• 2+ years of experience in design, development or support of SAP BW solutions;
• Experience in developing SAP BW data models( InfoObjects, InfoCubes, MultiProviders, DSO, etc.), developing BEx queries;
• ABAP programing skills would be advantage;
• Experience with Business Objects (BI4x) and its integration to SAP-BW would be advantage;
• In regular expertise in Transact SQL and ETL tools. Experience in the use of data models and data lineage diagrams;
• Ability to follow, adopt, recommend and promote standards regarding the use of ETL tools and regularly run ETL jobs.
• Effective at understanding a problem and developing one or many approaches to solving the problem
• Good communication skills and should be able to interact with users (customers);
• Successful teamwork experience;
• Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on SAP BI technologies and offerings;
