SCALA DEVELOPER

Role & Responsibilities:
You will play a lead role in the architecture, design, and implementation of company’s highly scalable hosted (SaaS) solutions, with end-to-end responsibilities for developing and maintaining key aspects of the technology base. Ideal candidates are strong leaders, excellent communicators and mentors, and advocates of modern agile software development practices that deliver high quality code: continuous integration, test, deployment practices and tool sets.

Minimum Qualifications:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of work experience using Scala and server-side development.
• Solid Enterprise Java/Scala fundamentals including best practices, DevOps awareness and Java GoF Design Patterns.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks in the Java ecosystem.
• Interest in Typesafe Reactive Platform (Scala, Akka, and Play Framework).
• Experience in BigData.
• Excellent collaboration skills.
• Great analytical and systems design skills.
• Fluent English language skills.
