Scala/Java Engineer

In this position you will contribute directly to our cutting edge platform which is used by millions of people around the globe every day to build stunning websites. We work in small teams, follow agile work methods and use continuous integration/deployment methodologies to run quickly as a startup while maintaining the high end quality of our product.

You will...
• Lead and deliver high scale projects end to end
• Design and write code using Scala
• Write unit and integration tests
• Monitor integration and smooth production operation
• Ensure continuous delivery of your service

You have...
• Extensive experience with server-side technologies (Java, Scala or other)
• Experience with software design, coding and delivery to production
• Knowledge of web development

It's nice if you have...
• Experience with Agile development, continuous integration, continuous deployment and coding for automated testing
• First-hand experience in Test Driven Development
• Experience with Scala language or other functional languages
• Experience in development and maintenance of RESTful APIs
• Interest in the life of local development communities
