Our Company provides financial services to Scandinavian clients. We are searching a passionate Senior Accountant/Account Manager with a “can do spirit” to the office located in Vilnius. The ideal candidate must have a strong background within the accounting standards and perfect English skills. He should be willing to enter the young team and take managing role there. It is an exciting role with great responsibility and ability to fulfill your expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing the portfolio of different Scandinavian companies;
• Preparation of consolidated financial reports, including: balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, statement of other comprehensive income and equity statement.
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Regular review and follow-up of client’s financial statements;
• Filling in tax returns (CIT, VAT etc.)
• Preparation and evaluation of financial statement analytics.
• Preparation of schedules and other supporting documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Completion of required reporting to governmental entities.
• Assist with research, documentation and implementation of new or revised accounting standards to determine the potential effect on our accounting and reporting requirements.
• Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers; Plan, assign and review staff’s work.
Requirements
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• 3-5 years’ experience as Senior Accountant or similar positions
• Experience from an international organization is a plus
• Confident, reliable and accurate with numbers • Open, flexible and service minded personality
• Good MS office skills, Navision/AX experience is an advantage
• Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
• Bachelor Degree in Economics/Mathematics/Business administration/Finance or similar
• Team Leadership skills
