Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead our Accounting function
As the leader of this area, you will own the full accounting process end to end. You’ll advise us on financial and tax reports required by governmental regulations, and you’ll be responsible for running of billing and accounting process within the group of related companies. We expect you to be willing to work with crypto currency matters and follow development of advances in their tax and regulatory treatments.
Responsibilities
- Setting of accounting and reporting processes that support Mysterium Network goals
- All financial and tax accounting & reporting, report submission as per legal requirements in Lithuania and other related jurisdictions
- Payroll management in Lithuania
- Assistance to the team with annual audit and budget process
- Development and documentation of accounting policies to strengthen internal controls
- Advice to the team members in accounting and tax matters
Requirements
- 4+ years GL accounting experience
- Practical expertise in Lithuanian financial and tax accounting
- Experience of working with international projects, international teams
- Good understanding of international accounting standards
- Ability to work and communicate in English
- Strong time management, communication and problem solving skills
- Education in Accounting or Finance
- Flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment
