Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant

I am Natalija Krakiene and I am leading Volume Accounts Receivable Incoming Payments team. I am looking for Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant to join a Volume Accounts Receivable Incoming Payments Team at Telia Company Financial Shared Services (FSS).

I am looking for team members to build new Volume Accounts Receivable Incoming Payments team for Sweden.

The team you will be part of is responsible for accounts receivable daily and month end tasks: handling B2C and B2B customer incoming payments (millions of transactions), maintaining AR Ledgers, collections, customer queries and balance sheet reconciliations.

In order to excel in this team, you need to be a flexible person who embraces change, have attention to details and have inspiration actively engage in driving and supporting improvements. You are also expected to support our stakeholders, the business, with expertise to ensure correct accounting. Some month end closing activities are also part of the role’s responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Take part in AR daily and month end tasks, i.e.  handling customer payments, maintaining AR Ledgers, collections, refunds, write offs, customer queries and balance sheet reconciliations
• You are the expert in the AR processes and you support your colleagues as well as your leader and stakeholders in the areas of accounting, process and system
• You independently drive continuous improvement initiatives and actively engage in projects related to AR
• Prepare and analyze KPIs

Your experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar in Finance
• Solid experience from Accounts Receivable (3-4 years)
• Experience from handling large volumes/files and automated flows with thousands (millions) of transactions
• Experience from reconciliations of large volumes
• Strong communication skills
• Analytical, structured and pay attention to details
• Must be able to work independently and collaborate with the team
• Strong excel skills
• Experience from SAP ERP (advantage)
• Fluency in English is essential, knowledge of one or more of the Nordic languages is an advantage but not a requirement.

Working in this position you will receive a base salary at 1900 – 2900 Eur (gross) plus annual bonuses depending on your competencies and your and Telia results. Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefits package which includes:
