Job Description

As a Senior Active Directory Engineer for Danske Bank Group IT the candidate will be responsible for enterprise level engineering, managing, assessing, and maintaining a strong knowledge in a diverse set of technologies in the Active Directory space. Tasks consist of implementation and design of new and upgrade projects, system health assessments, problem resolution consulting, and proof of concept projects as well as engineering service support. Candidate must also have knowledge of networking, storage, and desktop support as it relates to Active Directory.

- Able to effectively manage expectation on their own time and projects by prioritizing tasks while understanding potential technical risks

Requirements

Strong Experience of the technologies below recommended:
- 5+ years of work experience in a Active Directory engineer role
- Microsoft Certification MCSE, MCSA
- Able to write scripts to automate tasks
- Oversee enterprise standards and best practices are maintained
- Able to ensure enterprise security is maintained
- Able to update the hardware and software as required
- Advanced knowledge of Active Directory
- Experience with PKI Certificates and SSL
- PowerShell scripting experience related to managing server and AD objects and attributes.
- Solid understanding of IT components including Networking, Network Load Balancing, various Operating Systems, SAN/NAS storage, Vmware ESX, x64 hardware, Single Sign-On solutions.
- Must have a solid understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles, practices and processes in providing and managing the delivery of a large scale, enterprise-wide service. This includes incident management, problem management, change management, configuration management, and availability/continuity management. The candidate must have sufficient knowledge and experience to design and establish these processes and practices within a service organization.
