About the role:
With the ambition to be first mover Danske Bank invests more money than ever in customer oriented digital solutions. The latest solution is MobilePay app (https://youtu.be/JENIMfJIzRo) With MobilePay you can quickly and easily send and receive money and split a bill via a mobile phone, and the app can be used by anyone regardless of bank.
"As easy as dragging cold cash out of your pocket" – Danske Bank's ambition for the MobilePay app is that it should be used in all situations, anywhere, and it should be as easy as dragging cold cash out of your pocket. The result was an app with a strong focus on user experience and an extremely intuitive and simple user interface.The team is responsible for the future of the successfully launched MobilePay Solution, that has achieved 3.6 million users by today and around 70% are not regular Danske Bank Customers. MobilePay vision is to expand to online, retail and app payments, and also to move to new markets.
Responsibilities
- Write gorgeous and optimized code for Android applications
- Self-directed work style with minimum of supervisi
- Specification and Documentation of System Design
- Work in Agile Teams with own responsibility for delivery of what agreed in right time
- Take ownership of tailoring future Android development in Mobile Ecosystems
Requirements
Essential
- 5+ years of experience in Android App Development
- Involvement in broad range of complex solutions
- Fluent in English language
- Good teamwork skills and attention to details
- Not get scared of RxJava, Java 8 in Android
