Job Description

Key accountabilities:

• Repackage vendor applications
  
• Support Self-Service Packaging (SSP) / WiX for in-house applications
  
• Enhance SSP framework
  
• Involvement in Incident, Problem and Change management.
  
• Ownership of escalations
  
• Continuous improvement environment – document areas for improvement
  
• Actively manage the team / customer knowledgebase
  
• Managing clients expectations and deliverables
  
• Designing package architecture for the complex products
  
• Troubleshooting the packages in case of failure
  
• Maintaining high quality for deliverables

Requirements

• 3–5 years Windows Installer experience
  
• Strong Knowledge with Wise Scripting
  
• Strong knowledge with InstallShield, Wise Packaging Studio and Orca
  
• Citrix Knowledge (desirable)
  
• App-V experience (desirable)
  
• ITIL knowledge
  
• Scripting/development: familiarity with VB script, C# or similar
  
• Excellent written and spoken English
  
• Ability to work under own initiative
  
• Ability to coach others and share knowledge
  
• Geographical flexibility – ability to travel to locations in the Europe and overseas to support the accountabilities outlined above
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong team player
  
• Ability to work in highly dynamic environment
  
• Excellent problem solving skills and strong crisis management skills – able to remain calm in stressful situations
