Senior Application Specialist, Skype for Business / MS Teams

I am Andrius Jurkšaitis and I am leading Application Services team. Currently we are looking for a Senior Application Specialist to join us at Telia Global Services Lithuania.

Your next challenge?

Your new team, based in a modern open-space office in Vilnius, support the operational aspects of Managed Services provided both internally and externally for customers in Nordics and Baltics. We also deliver solutions on automation, patching, improvements as well as proactive prevention of disturbances. The team in Vilnius work closely with other teams and vendors to plan, investigate, solve and upgrade technology and communication services in the end to end usage within the IT Infrastructure.

You will have the responsibility for operational support, maintenance, capacity management, planning and deployment of Skype for Business and MS Teams projects. You will oversee areas of Incidents, Change and Problem detection.

Who are you?

You are a strong team-player with a service-oriented mindset who will independently drive your own tasks, lead service and secure the service stability, quality and target delivery on time. To fit the bill, you have worked as a Skype for Business or Lync support specialist or administrator and you have a good understanding of Skype for Business infrastructure and network design – from planning to deployment and support. Leading, planning, developing, maintaining, ensuring complex service excellence and collaborating to solve urgent incidents is something that excites you, and you excel in building strong stakeholder relationship.

Your experience:

• Experience in deploying, configuring, and supporting Lync 2013 & Skype for Business
• Experience using tools for monitoring quality and administrating Lync / Skype /Teams environments for disturbances and incidents
• Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, Routing, Load Balancing, and other core network and firewall technologies
• Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages (an advantage)
• Experience or certification on MS Azure and O365 product administration (an advantage)
• Knowledge of voice routing, VOIP and PBX is an advantage
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

We offer a monthly base salary from 2220 Eur (gross) to 3300 Eur (gross) depending on your experience. Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefit package which includes:
