SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER / ENGINEER

ISCOPE is an innovative web-company from Germany specialized in web-design and the development of web-applications for medium-sized and large companies. Currently we are supporting software-solutions for the likes of AUDI and Daimler. Additional areas that we cover are: CMS-based Web-Appearances, E-Commerce, Video on Demand, App-Development, Graphic Design and 3D-Rendering. For our newly founded branch in Lithuania (Klaipeda) we are looking for highly communicative, self-organized and experienced developers. A strong tendency to solution-oriented thinking and the ambition to be a founding part of a growing team are mandatory. Your tasks:
- Design of scalable, efficient and safe cloud tools in a team of senior IT specialists
- Design of data migration between differing database technologies (like MySQL, MariaDB, Aurora, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS-SQL, MongoDB)
- Creation of previously co-designed concepts and associated test cases in PHP, Rust, Java and Python
- Creation of REST-APIs and REST-like APIs

• You are fluent in English or German (spoken and written)
• Very good knowledge of different SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• Very good understanding of multi process application architectures
• Very good usage of PHP
• Good understanding of software design patterns
• Good knowledge in frameworks like Symfony and Laravel
• Understanding application architecture for horizontal scaling
• Ability to travel once in a while to Germany
