Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our Corporate Digital Marketing team. The Business Intelligence Data Analyst will work under the guidance of our Digital Marketing Strategy & Analytics Manager and collaborate with the Digital Marketing team.  The ideal candidate will have a background/experience in Data Analysis and Interpretation, Data Visualization, Statistics, Business Intelligence and Web Analytics. The candidate will perform customer behavior analysis, data segmentation and predictive modeling. This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity to apply the latest tools and methods in data science/analytics and big data to analyze, solve problems and detect a variety of business opportunities.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and expand his/her knowledge in the digital marketing field, data analysis and work in a wide range of exciting projects and tasks. These include website traffic analysis, data mining and analysis, data interpretation and story creation, and report generation.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Perform analytical depth analysis to create hypotheses and validate findings using advanced analytical techniques and provide actionable insights, identify relevant opportunities from analysis and propose recommendations based on those findings.
  • Analyze large complex data sets representing the behavior of all digital channels (website, email, social media, sales, etc.) to address strategic and operational business questions.
  • Completes full root-cause analysis, identifies and reports data discrepancies and behavioral patterns.
  • Distill complex data, interdependencies and relationships into clear, concise charts and visualizations using several tools including but limited to Tableau, Domo, Google Charts/Sheets, etc.
  • Understand Littelfuse audience and align data analysis and recommendations to business values and opportunities.
  • Perform competitive analysis and create Industry benchmarks based on KPIs.
  • Develop and create reports and data dashboards integrating multiple touch points (Web, Social, Email, etc.)
  • As subject matter expert, stays informed of new trends and best practices in business intelligence, data analytics and determine if there are opportunities for Littelfuse to improve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or experience in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, and/or Digital Media-Marketing or other quantitative discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Positive attitude, strong analytical skills and proven ability to turn data analysis into business-impacting insights utilizing key data and analysis applications like Google Analytics, Tableau, SaaS, Google, Omniture, and/or others.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills
  • High aptitude for technology and knowledge of e-business, technology solutions, online marketing practices and a vision of the opportunities developing in the digital space.
  • Knowledge and capabilities in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and get work done with little or no supervision.
  • Knowledge of statistics and/or marketing analytics.
