I am Sailaja Kunapuli and I am leading Data and information management unit.
At Telia Company, we are now looking for a senior data architect, who will help simplify and standardize the data and information architecture, thus delivering our business objectives.

Responsibilities include the following:
- Define and implement Data management framework, data architecture concepts and roadmaps.
- Understand all aspects of data architecture and data models from conceptual to logical to physical models.
- Responsible for creating and/or maintaining product information model for Telia company and ensure implementation as part of the target architecture.
- Responsible for creating and/or validating solution specific data models, integration models etc, in alignment with Telia company’s common information model, to ensure consistency and commonality across countries.
- Define principles, standards related to data design, development and integration for the company to enable enterprise level systems integration and modernization with high data quality.
- Contribute towards data glossary, metadata, data lineage related initiatives along with analytics team.
Who are you?
You are a strong team player with an architectural mindset, who will be working with a team of data architects and data governance specialists. This team is placed in Enterprise IT architecture team and will have several stakeholders, e.g. business, IT architects, process architects, developers. This role needs the following experience and skills:

- You are constantly educating yourself with industry’s updates in your area of expertise and are brave to challenge existing ways while proposing new ways in a constructive manner.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills to express your ideas clearly to non-architecture stakeholders as well.
- You think about implementation of defined architecture and strive to achieve this.
Your Experience:
- Extensive experience in IT, e.g., working as a software developer and/or database developer.
- Considerable data architecture, data modelling, SQL programming and related areas experience.
- Product lifecycle management experience.
- Telecommunication business understanding is a plus.
- Experience in designing and implementing data architectures on an enterprise and/or solution level.
- Knowledgeable and well versed with master data management, metamodels, taxonomies, ontologies and the challenges in applying common models in organizations.
- Good understanding of concepts related to data science, data warehouse, data lake and data analytics.
- Ability to work in a large, complex organization with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in UML is a plus.
