Senior Software Developer will join our fast-paced, innovative development team. The role involves working with SQL Server 2005 and
Microsoft Visual
Studio 2010 to deliver exceptionally high quality, performant and resilient database systems that build on Callcredit’s vast amounts of data
assets to deliver
key solutions to contribute to the continued growth and success of the company.

As an individual you should be passionate about your profession, taking pride in coding and unit testing high quality, high performance T-SQL
code with
SQL Server technology and be outstanding at problem ownership, problem solving and communication.

As a senior developer you will also be expected to mentor and coach your team mates, leading by example to ensure that the department
continues to
improve and offer the best service to Callcredit.

Requirements

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Thorough commercial experience of database development using SQL Server 2005/2008
  
• Problem solving skills and the ability to truly own a problem
  
• Sound knowledge of query optimization, performance tuning and the SQL Server engine
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to communication superbly, both with technical and non-technical staff
  
• Leadership skills, including ability to motivate and coach others
  
• Experience of writing unit tests and using build systems in conjunction with database systems
  
• Experience with large databases
  
• Knowledge of scalable, high availability high performance multi-tier systems
  
• Knowledge of modern development methodologies and engineering practices
  
• Very good English skills
