Your responsibilities

  • Maintaining the existing solutions and following up on quality issues
  • Develop and maintain micro services
  • Develop and maintain the overall system architecture
  • Onboard and integrate with new systems
  • Create solution and technical documentation
  • Work closely with testers during end-to-end testing, including unit and integration tests
  • Solve issues in production with customer operations
  • Create frontend web-based solutions upon need
  • This is not just a development job, but also includes a lot of practical work and problem solving
     

Who are you?

I know the spec is one that most people won't fill completely, so I am primarily looking for familiarity with systems, ability to learn, the right attitude and a willingness/ability to assume responsibility for a large, critical system. That will ultimately be more important than experience with the exact elements of the stack. What I really want is a senior developer who would look at the system and think, “Sure, that looks interesting. I bet I can figure all that out…”

In addition to that, you are an appreciated team player and take the initiative and ownership in getting things done. You also keep your eyes on the details, maintain a good structure and succeed in following up in a diverse variety of people and tasks.

English is our common language, so good communication skills is important to us. Do you speak Scandinavian as well? Great!

Required Skillset:

  • Experience in JavaScript and NodeJS development
  • Experience with Cloud based solutions (AWS preferred)
  • Experience building AWS lambda functions with NodeJS
     

Additional Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of GDPR and it's impacts on technology (experience with GDPR solutions)
  • Experience in front end development like react, HTML, CSS, Javascript etc.
  • Implementing and integrating with REST APIs
  • Familiarity/experience with AWS Environment/Toolset; e.g. Lambda, Terraform, CloudWatch, S3, EC2, SSM, …
  • Experience with source control, Git, REST APIs and SQL
  • Experience with Containers/Docker, CI/CD: Concourse, Maven, Functional testing
  • Experience with SonarQube and Splunk

My team is small and you will get a lot of responsibility and work autonomously. Therefore, it is important that our new member have the level of seniority to manage to work independently.

Working in this position you will receive a monthly base salary from 1600 to 2900 EUR (gross) based on qualifications and experience. Besides for each employee Telia has additional employee benefits package which includes:
