Job Description

Senior Finance Manager leads a team that supports the organisation’s short and long-term goals and strategies.  This role is specifically responsible for the businesses accounting policies, management information for non-trading companies, long-term cash flow forecasting, external audit relationships and any other projects as deemed necessary by the Country Manager or the CFO.

Job responsibilities:

• Overseeing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts


• Tax management including corporation tax, international tax and VAT


• Management of external audit


• Providing technical accounting expertise and accounting policy ownership


• Performing cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls


• Reviewing & approving payment vouchers & journal entries


• Ensuring a robust control environment is in place and risks are appropriately managed


• Projects as deemed necessary by the Country Manager or the CFO


• Regular liaison and reviews with Financial Control, Business Partnering, FP&A and other key stakeholders


• Involvement in wider finance initiatives to constantly evolve and improve the Group Finance function

Requirements

• Min 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial & management accounting in international environment, including:  overseeing the production and reporting of financial accounts, putting the necessary processes and controls in place;  corporation tax computations; team management 


• Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA qualification


• Strong MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.


• Ability to influence and persuade challenging internal customer client base and external contacts


• Strong communication, interpersonal as well as analytical and forecasting skills


• Good presentation as well as technical accounting skills


• Ability of planning and organizing multiple activities to deadlines


• Clarity of vision and ability to drive change


• Fluency in English

Desirable:

• Previous experience of working in a regulated environment and/or SSC


• Familiarity in US GAAP and SOX
