Job Description

We are now looking for a Senior GL Accountant to join our friendly team at Telia Global Services Lithuania UAB (TGSL). 

As part of TGSL finance team you would be responsible for accounting oversight in the Company and play an active role in financial processes, tax reporting and implementation of internal controls.

 Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure integrity of accounting information
• Ensure compliance with local tax, regulations, company’s accounting policy and internal controls
• Actively review and advice on accounting processes
• Month closing procedures and accounts reconciliations
• Quarterly Tax reporting to Group Tax
• Assistance with SAF-T implementation
• Prepare statistical and VAT reports
• Assistance with preparation of Financial Statements (IFRS)
• Participate in external audit and prepare audit material

Requirements

• Good understanding of local tax and accounting standards (IFRS)


• Wide experience of General Accounting (5+ years)


• Analytical and structured thinking


• Proactivity


• Fluency in English
