Purpose:
To join an exciting new team in Kaunas, work on different global projects using cutting-edge technology and solutions.
Job responsibilities:
- Working on a large-scale projects using latest JAVA technologies
- Driving innovation and continuous improvements in all projects
- Working on Agile methodology to ensure efficient delivery of the project
- Training and supporting team members when needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development using Java technologies.
- A broad knowledge of Java technology (from legacy version 1.4 to the latest version 9 and beyond).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, IT or related technical field
- Fluency in English with great communication skills
- Knowledge of Spring, Java Server Pages, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Knowledge of RDBMS / SQL including stored procedures
- Experience developing REST or SOAP web services
- Fluency in XML, JSON
- Practical knowledge of Agile processes, able to interpret business requirements and transform them into a functional design that can be broken into manageable tasks
- Experience with unit testing and building testable code
- Flexibility to travel
- Ability to work across all levels of the company and report progress in a concise manner.
- Proven experience of mentoring and coaching junior team members
Desired Technology Skills:
- Apache Spark/Ignite
- React/Redux or other java framework
- Experience in defining APIs, web services or SDKs used by multiple developers
- Travel Industry Experience
