We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel
We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to provide us with comprehensive legal guidance. We promise you challenges worthy of your time! You will be working across multiple jurisdictions and multiple areas of law ー from labour to cyber security, following advancements of cryptocurrency & blockchain regulatory treatments, and managing all external legal resources.
Responsibilities
- Understanding business and technology challenges and formulate an effective legal strategy that supports Mysterium Network goals.
- Delivering legal advice in a user-friendly manner on a wide range of legal, strategic, and operational issues.
- Providing input into the business planning process, including how the legal environment may affect opportunities and risks.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and any other legal documents we work with.
- Manage all external legal resources within budget constraints, including the selection, and the management of legal fees and related expenditures.
- Protecting Mysterium Network trademark.
- Developing strong cross-functional working relationships within the team to ensure effective communication and action on key legal issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a legal, contracts, enterprise risk or commercial capacity. Experience in IT, cybersecurity and fintech projects would be an advantage.
- Displayed expertise in managing legal teams (internal or external, outsourced).
- Effective business communication (English) skills.
- Demonstrated abilities to collaborate with colleagues as well as work independently.
- Experience working internationally, in an agile work environment would be an advantage.
