Job Description

ServiceNOW is Danske Bank’s main platform supporting IT Service Management in the IT Organization. Currently supporting core ITIL processes, the platform’s service portfolio will expand to cover the full IT Service Management portfolio as well as several other administrative processes. In parallel, we will continuously improve available services through automation and integration.

The ServiceNOW develops and operates the ServiceNOW platform as well as other related applications. It has a global footprint with team members in Vilnius, Denmark and Bangalore and currently has 13 members.

The senior platform engineer’s responsibility will be to actively ensure that technical aspects and operational efficiency of the platform is maintained and improved, that new functional is implemented according to standards, and assisting junior colleagues. It is also expected that an active role is taken in relation to automation and expanding the supported service portfolio.

  • Scrum master.

  • Daily meetings facilitator.

  • Tasks prioritization.

  • Risks identification and escalation.

  • Implementing of most complicated tasks.

  • Implementation design.

  • Team mentoring.

  • Part of architectural design development.

  • Lead of platform support.

  • Drive the service and the system forward together with the team.

  • Drive the customer centric approach and end-to-end perspective within the organization using state of the art application performance monitoring technologies.


  • At least 3 years of working experience with all Platform Engineering disciplines

  • Strong professional knowledge with the Platform Engineer disciplines and IT principles including HW and software architecture.

  • Able to handle incident situations and based on Danske Bank standards and supplier documentation help solving problems

  • High-level technical delivery and internal customer management

  • Excellent English knowledge
