SENIOR PORT OPERATIONS TECHNICAL MANAGER (F/M/D) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

We are looking for a talented and experienced technical manager who specializes in ports, harbors, and vessels for our new 700 MW offshore wind farm development. As part of our growing team, you will play a pivotal role in technical matters related to port infrastructure, vessels and services for all our port and shipping-related activities (both for construction and operational phases). Your key areas of responsibilities will be:

• Collaborating with the Development Team to secure necessary port contracts for the offshore wind project, from initial feasibility to comprehensive plan development.
• Ensuring infrastructure alignment in the port with offshore wind project requirements through cooperation with Klaipeda State Seaport Authority and other relevant companies.
• Facilitating the preparation of necessary port contracts for the offshore wind project's operation and maintenance, working closely with the Development Team and local companies.
• Overseeing the development of the operation and maintenance base, including necessary berthing for maintenance vessels, in coordination with the Operation and Maintenance Team.
• Leading technical aspects of procurement for construction management package activities within the port, including defining requirements, supplier identification, and cost analysis.
• Establishing and managing robust relationships with port companies, encompassing contract negotiation and subsequent management.

• Have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Port logistics, Construction, Engineering, Energy or related fields
• Have 5+ years of direct professional post-qualification experience, in the marine and ports industry
• Have excellent proficiency in written and spoken English
• Experience and understanding of different operations within a port 
• Experience with renewable energy projects or other infrastructure projects and with leading technical matters with multiple contractors and interfaces (would be considered as an advantage)
• Understanding of local laws and regulations to support port activities and development
• Are able to build relationships, trust and respect within teams and with other stakeholders
• Ability to work within approved budgets and under deadline pressure, ensuring efficient project execution while meeting financial constraints.
