Job Description
Business area:
You will be working in Transaction Services - an international supporting area of the Danske Bank Group, which centrally handle the Group's business support and handles transactions within payment services, currency trading and investment area both at home and abroad. Depending on your team you will primarily be working with currency loans or syndicated and bilateral loans.
Customers are: Bank's specialist functions, branches at home and abroad, foreign banks, external customers, etc.
Our goal is to provide high quality service, as well as create efficiencies across customers and national borders.
Job description:
It is a job of an administrative nature in settlement of currency loans or settlement of syndicated and bilateral loans where professional skills and knowledge of the international loan market including funding risk, currency risk and settlement risk is needed. Administration of loans related to the banks own funding (based on the international bond market) is also included.
The loan portfolio is administered in a separate system called CampFLS (Foreign Loan System). Other special systems including pricing tools are used.
Responsibilities (for currency loans team):
- Establishing and finishing currency loans
- Currency exchange transactions related to the currency loans
- Funding and pricing of currency loans including fixed rate loans
- Servicing of internal stakeholders related to currency loans. Contact to Danish branch network both in writing and verbally is the primary stakeholder.
- Daily transmission from CampFLS of data to the banks central systems
- Various internal reportings
- Control and error correction of transactions
- Working hours in the department is until 18.00 (Danish time) daily due to the international loan market and working is required on all international banking days. Dealing month end is always a peak period.
Responsibilities (for syndicated and bilateral loans team):
- Establish syndicated and bilateral loan facilities
- Establish loan facilities for the banks own funding
- Bookkeeping of loans booked under the loan facilities including creation, prolongation and repayment of loans, pricing and funding of loans, broadcast to other banks, fee handling and payments including SWIFT
- Servicing of internal stakeholders related to syndicated and bilateral loan facilities as well as the bank’s own funding
- Servicing of customers, other banks and financial institutions under syndicated and bilateral loan facilities
- Daily transmission from CampFLS of data to the banks central systems
- Various internal reportings
- Control and error correction of transactions

Requirements
Requirements:
- You have knowledge of international bank products
- You can communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- You have some knowledge of SWIFT and nostro and loro accounts
- You can use Lotus Notes, MS-office and the Bank's core systems
- You are flexible, committed and service oriented
- You have drive and a desire to learn new skills
- You are a team player, and you know that it is necessary to make an extra effort in peak periods
- You work systematically and remain calm
- You are responsible and good at meeting deadlines, have a sense of order and are very quality conscious
- Advantageous to have knowledge of Scandinavian language
