We are looking for a passionate Senior Software UI/UX Engineer who loves learning and thrives in an environment that provides the best tools and fosters a great culture to do your job well. Software engineer will join a high performing dynamic team delivering next generation Security and Compliance Solutions on the Virtustream Cloud platform.

Primary Responsibilities:
Design and deliver web applications, from high-level concepts through to screen designs which are brand aligned and globally scalable.
Participate in brainstorming and co-design activities with internal groups and with customers.
Design and develop applications in with a focus on strong usability, responsive design, and high quality implementation.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA and other engineers to enhance the existing UI technology and create a distinctive user experience for our customers.
Provide input into technical direction and establish reusable UI code components and patterns.
Ensure high quality presentation layer code through automation and unit testing frameworks.
Collaborate with fellow developers on code reviews, and adhere and contribute to coding standards and best practices.
Knowledge of full SDLC is required – from requirements gathering, POC, planning, solution implementation, testing, UAT, release (via Continuous Integration).
Work in dynamic and fast paced environment alone and as part of a team.

Requirements

3+ years of in-depth experience creating business related applications leveraging front-end technologies.
Must be experienced in building responsive Single Page Applications.
Must have experience working with RESTful Web Services.
Experience with Scrum or other agile methodologies.
Experience and knowledge of architectural patterns / Design Patterns is desirable.
Have experience writing unit tests.
Nice to have experience in refactoring code – large and small scale.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Fluent in English.
Deep understanding of web standards, protocols, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
Experience with building scalable web products and iterative performance tuning process.
Working knowledge of front end visualizing and charting libraries such as Highcharts, D3 is a plus.
