Job Description

Currently we are searching for a self-sufficient and tech savvy Technical Support Specialist to join our growing Vilnius Team. The successful candidate will be a part of a dynamic global company and work during standard business hours.

Work responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting, maintaining and upgrading existing servers and systems alongside the usual day-to-day IT helpdesk duties;
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be held over the phone, via Skype or e-mail)
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
  • Responding to requests for IT support, logging problems, generating trouble tickets, diagnosing and resolving problems;
  • Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams;
  • Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve system issues.

Requirements

  • Professional working proficiency of English language;
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role;
  • Experience working with Windows operating systems;
  • Familiarity with Exchange server;
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of basic to moderately complex hardware and software products and problem solving/diagnostic skills;
  • Experience leading roll-outs, migrations and upgrades;
  • Good customer service skills and ability to work on own initiative;
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
