Senior Validation Engineer

Currently we are looking for a Senior Validation Engineer, who will conduct testing and validation of new products for the automotive and commercial vehicle markets. You will be responsible for developing and executing validation test plans and following the internal processes and procedures. Apply engineering knowledge to come up with cost effective test and validation methods that meet customer requirements and/or market needs through the interaction within R&D organization.

About the job:

• Support the R&D team with product testing and validation analysis, definition and test cost estimation
• Complete DVP&R and PVP&R forms and update accordingly through the NP&PD process
• Complete detailed DV and PV Test Plans and execute testing
• Design and fabricate necessary test fixtures, equipment and tools
• Generate Test and Validation Reports
• Execute EMC testing or orders for external companies
• Execute competitive analysis testing
• Develop regional partnerships with outside test companies in order to improve responsiveness and costs
• Collaborate with other Littelfuse business unit validation teams
• Follow/enforces the global work order system for testing and validation

• Higher technical degree (electronics, mechatronics, electrical degree would be preferable)
• At least 3 years of similar work experience
• 1 year of experience working with LabVIEW application
• Metrology and Calibration skills
• Experience working with various laboratories for electrical, mechanical measuring devices, laboratory testing equipment
• Knowledge of EMC/ ESD standards
• Good English language skills - verbal and written
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 17025 standards
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Salary from 2300 eur/mon gross. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate
