Job Description
At the moment Voltima is looking for a Senior Web Application Developer (.NET) to join their team in Vilnius Development Center.
The main responsibilities of Senior Web Application Developer (.NET) include but are not limited to:
- design and development of applications,
- owning their aspects of applications through QA, Production Deploy and Application Maintenance phases.
Requirements
Technical Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of .NET programming experience, specializing in web applications
- Thorough familiarity with Object-oriented design concepts, and with Design Patterns (particularly related to .NET/C#)
- Thorough familiarity with relational database design concepts, with specific experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/200
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of the .NET Framework 3.5 using Visual Studio and C#
- Familiar with application development and deployment strategies (SVN)
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC is a plus
- Past involvement in software applications throughout the full development lifecycle
- Proficiency with XML and knowledgeable of associated technologies such as schemas, XSLT, transformers and parsers is a plus
- Experience working with multithreading applications is a plus
Education and Experience- BS/BA in Computer Science or MIS, or equivalent work experience
- Typically requires 2-3 years experience in full lifecycle application development capacity
- Excellent written and spoken English (Russian language a plus)
