Job Description
As a Server Capacity Solution Manager you are responsible for general management, operational efficiency and development of the capacity solutions for the whole company based on agreed ways of working within the service as a whole, including current solutions e.g. Mill-in-the-box, Branch-office-solution and other site specific solutions. Capacity services covers approx. 2500 servers in all Outokumpu operations locations in the world, manufacturing, Sales and Processing. Scope includes the management and update of servers, storage arrays/services. You act in close co-operation with IT Service Management, All Service Managers, Business Engagement Managers (BEM), IT Architects and IT Security Officer.
Individual accountabilities:
- General service management within the server capacity scope
- Service performance and budget compliance
- Invoice checking
- Demand evaluation and recommendations
- Continual Improvements within the capacity solutions
Requirements
- An academic degree or equivalent qualifications in an IT discipline
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure services
- ITIL Qualified – Minimum Foundation level
- Excellent Communication skill in English both spoken and written
- Good understanding of new future solutions and trends in the scope area
- Ability to work evening shifts half of the time
