Service Asset & Configuration Analyst

Currently we are looking for one member of the IT Asset & Configuration Management (ITACM) team with responsibility for ensuring that both Asset (hardware and software) & Configuration data stored in the respective repositories is complete and accurate and that the operational processes to keep the data maintained.
As an Analyst, your responsibilities will be:
- To capture complete and accurate configuration information for all infrastructures, applications, networks and services and load this accurately into the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- To verify the consistency and accuracy of the CMDB, resolving any issues and keeping it accurate and up-to-date at all times, based on the information provided
- Support programmes/projects, to ensure IMAC Processes / Scanning capabilities being developed include IT Hardware Asset Management requirements.
- Support risks associated with the delivery of ITACM services.
Work with the Technical Delivery team to implement changes to operational processes for ITACM
- Manage and promote use of the ITACM Process, Procedures and Technologies including: IT asset discovery and tracking; IT asset reporting; IT asset data quality monitoring; Service Mapping

We expect you possess:
- Understanding the inter-relationship of software, hardware, configuration and communications
- Basic understanding of the internal and external environment
-knowledge and skills to identify and interpret key policies, standards and procedures affecting own area
- Understanding the basic concepts and benefits of the technology strategy
- Awareness of new information technology platforms and technologies
- Awareness and understanding of the toolsets used to support SACM processes (AssetCenter and ServiceCenter) Practical experience and awareness of how information security is implemented and maintained
- Good ITIL knowledge and skills
- Very good English skills
