Job Description
To act as the central point of contact for the new office in Vilnius, and ensure the site is running smoothly across all departments in cooperation with the management team we are currently searching for a person to fill the Site Manager role.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as primary point of contact for the Company and subsidiary Company- World Courier management team in a matrix oriented organisation with multiple locations and across various functions and departments.
- Build a strong collaborative culture in the new office location, ensuring cohesion and unity for all employees with a variety of reporting lines and business units.
- Optimize and implement standard, globally consistent processes and facilitate the integration of new activities for all employees in the office location.
- In coordination with the management teams, ensure staff are motivated, developed and appraised so that individual and collective performance meet the targets.
- Leadership of the change process, driving continuous improvement through recommendations on enhanced cost effectiveness opportunities where possible.
- Identify, plan and proactively drive future growth in the office.
- Ensure alignment with Company strategy, business priorities and customer needs.
- Responsible for budget, cost, conceptual fit, and development of the site in conjunction with Company and World Courier management.
- Participate in the development and execution of training, providing feedback as needed to management on additional opportunities for development.
Requirements
- Minimum master degree in business
- Relevant experience in a similar leadership role within international environment
- Previous experience with U.S. multinational organization(s) preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability and confidence to operate at senior levels with company stakeholder
- Exceptional Stakeholder management
- Excellent understanding of the critical success factors for the site as a reliable, effective and efficient business service provider
- Budget, cost & performance management
- Proven people management and development skills
- Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required
- Willing to travel and international mind-set
