Software Architect in Digital Process Automation Team

You will work as a Software Architect in Process Automation team. We use different automation technologies to automate manual back-office tasks across the bank.

We are looking for a Software Architect to lead and help bring Digital technology domain expertise, and insights into development of Solution Architecture based on business use cases and Customer Journeys.

Focus Area

• Design solutions to meet short-term business needs and requirements as well as strategic architecture direction and roadmaps
• Ensure that system architecture is continuously updated to match published architecture best practices
• Support architecture governance to ensure realisation of strategic direction
• Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise across multiple technologies and disciplines
• Facilitate adoption and utilisation of industry best practices
• Ensure that solutions are sufficiently documented to facilitate maintenance and new development
• Act as architecture lead in development initiatives to drive solution design and provide solution guidance to team members
• Ensure that the necessary application infrastructure and middleware is in place to support solution integration
• Maintain knowledge of best practices as well as state of the art technology and application architectures in the software & banking industries
• Perform architecture reviews and design inspections
• Document design rationale and ensure that deviations from standards and strategic direction are identified and communicated
• Provide recognised subject matter expertise and strategic thinking in assigned architecture areas
• Promote in-house and industry advances in software development practices
• Ensure that exposed APIs comply with enterprise publication guidelines
• Exercise architecture decision authority in alignment with strategic direction

• You have excellent skills in IT architecture
• You have hands-on experience with building applications and working as Software Architect or Technical Lead
• You have a drive in an environment that requires you to translate complex problems into simple technical solutions
• You know what quality is, and you are happy to share with the team
• You are able to work with multiple technologies
• You have more than 4 years of working experience with standard programming languages, interfaces and strong professional knowledge about Software Engineering disciplines
• You are a team player, able and willing to develop and coach junior team members
• Fluent in English language
