Software engineer

JOB SUMMARY

Hyde & Associates has an opening for a software engineer with 3 years’ of work experience or more, to be based in our Tallinn office to assist the firm in developing and maintaining internal web applications. The position is an ideal mid-level position for a motivated and independent-minded software engineer.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop server-side applications with front-end interfaces for internal systems;
• Adhere to best practices such as writing automated tests and code review;
• Support already existing integrations and services;
• Analyze requirements and advise the firm on technical issues;
• Documenting solution design according to the defined standards;
• Creating prototypes using design system components (UI/UX);
• Ensure scalability and high performance of applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University Degree in IT / Computer Science;
• Have comprehensive software development experience (Java);
• Detailed understanding of all phases es of the software delivery cycle;
• Extensive knowledge of back/front end, web technologies, databases;
• Proficiency with JavaScript and frameworks like React or AngularJS;
• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Having previous experience with the development of enterprise applications and document stores.
