Job Description
Working in Sustained engineering (SE) team together with the rest of software engineers you will be responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, debugging customer reported issues and requested system enhancements. You would provide data and recommendations for triage in accordance with existing code base, engineering guidelines and system functionality. As well you will be responsible for fixing defects and delivering hot fix releases on supported software versions ensuring consistency with the latest releases of TIA.
While analyzing and fixing defects you will collaborate closely with your team colleagues as well as with the rest of R&D ensuring compliance to engineering guidelines and requirements to system functionality.
Being part of a SE team you will be working with different functional areas and will become a solid expert of the TIA functionality and its implementation, including but not limited to the Oracle data model, PL/SQL, SOAP, REST services, ADF, Selenium automation framework.
Your work assignments
You will be working daily with software test engineers and software engineers forming a Sustained Engineering team responsible for:
Accurately resolving customer cases ranging from low to high complexity in a timely manner
Performing code reviews of your peers’ code
Participating in all Scrum events, including daily stand-up meetings
Contribute to an environment that encourages information sharing, team-based resolution activity, and a focus on resolving customer issues as quickly and effectively as possible
Following and contributing to best practices and Engineering guidelines within R&D
Contributing to technical documentation

Requirements
We are looking for candidates with some experience from the software
development industry and you should have:
A BS in Computer/Software Engineering degree, or similar higher
education
Two or more years working experience as software engineer with relevant
technologies
Documented experienced as software engineer within one or more of the
following technologies:
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Knowledge of Java, Java EE as well as willingness to learn ADF would be
an advantage,
- Knowledge of SOA Services, REST Services would be an advantage
As a person, you are self-motivated, detail-oriented, thorough and with
high quality standards
Confident in communicating with all job roles and parts of the organization
Pro-active in establishing collaboration and handling issue escalations
Experience working with TIA, other insurance or enterprise applications
Fluent in English, spoken as well as in written
