Job Description

UAB "Omega Technology" is seeking to expand our Technology & Products teams with new Software Systems Engineers who are proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, .NET and modern web development technologies based on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The successful applicants will be working in a collaborative project environment designing, developing and customizing Omega’s flagship project management products suite (Pims), also providing support services to other Omega divisions internationally as well as being involved in customer implementations.

We are looking for skilled technical specialists, who are initiative, good team players and have strong communication skills.The successful applicants should have genuine interest in creating and maintaining technology and products that helps project-driven organizations to improve their project execution capabilities through innovative software tools and work processes.

Example tasks:

• requirements analysis and system design;
• database and applications modeling;
• development of comprehensive client-server software systems based on Omega's application framework (Appframe);
• creation of new and development of existing modules in Omega’s flagship project management products suite (Pims);
• participation in client development projects in Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, France, UK, USA, Canada, Singapore, Australia and more.The primary work location will be Klaipėda, Lithuania, however occasional international travels might be required.

Requirements

• Fluent in English, oral and written;
• Self-propulsion and inner-motivation;
• Higher IT education or relevant working experience;
• Willingness to acquire new skills and travel.

Desired:

• Strong database development skills using Microsoft SQL Server, including views, triggers, stored procedures, and functions to implement business logic;
• Applications development using .NET;
• Mobile development using Flutter;
• Web development using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and Bootstrap.
